“One plum blossom, the warmth of a single bloom” – penned by Hattori Ransetsu. This verse speaks of the warmth and beauty brought forth by a single plum blossom. Just as the plum blossom heralds spring, this vessel also signifies a new beginning. Fresh mornings, new nights, new dreams. Within ‘ume’ lies the essence of kōrin, honoring the beauty of nature. Quiet, yet resolute. A small bud reaching towards the grand tree.
